Medical advances have left DVMs in a bit of a predicament. Although we are able to provide it, the gold standard of care is not a financial possibility for all pet owners.  Does this make those pet parents bad owners? Absolutely not!  This article sheds light on the challenge of providing excellent care at all levels, and wisdom to guide you though difficult conversations.
