Good News! The 2016 AVMA Report on the Market for Veterinarians found the employment outlook for veterinarians continues to improve, with greatest improvements being seen in the US.  “The largest markets for veterinarians are those of private practice (e.g., companion animal, food animal, equine and mixed animal), comprising roughly three-quarters of all active veterinarians."  Read the full post from Avma.org

Fact: Dues for AVMA membership, and premiums for AVMA Professional Liability Insurance for Veterinarians are due by January 1st each year.

AVMA dues :  $330/year*
AVMA Professional Liability Insurance for Veterinarians:  $173 - $2365/year* depending on focus of practice and level of coverage chosen
