Did You Know THIS about the Term Neuter?

The term neuter means to remove the sex organs of an animal...male or female. Although commonly used as the counterpart to spay, as in spay or neuter for females and males respectively, the more appropriate term for sexually altering the male species is castration.  

For example:  My female dog is spayed and my male dog is castrated, therefore, both of my animals have been neutered.
