Idiopathic Issues

There has been a great conversation going on in a ViralVet thread regarding recent corporate consolidation. The recent acquisition of VCA by Mars has prompted many of us to think about how corporatization of our profession may impact the future of veterinary medicine.

VetPrep's ViralVet App was recently reviewed by a German Veterinarian, Daphne Frederiksen, who gives vet apps reviews, and recently gave a full review about the ViralVet apps' functionality, the community and the overall influence ViralVet has to the veterinary community.  You can read the full article here (in German).

Veterinarian Student, it's 2017 and most everyone uses this time of the year to reflect on the past year, plan for the upcoming year and find ways to improve and KEEP your resolutions (if possible).  We were once vet students ourselves, so we know what we should work on year to year. 

Portland’s about to become home to a new kind of business: VetPronto. The company's founder describes it as an "Uber for veterinarians." VetPronto is scheduled to arrive in Portland at the end of January.
